International Coaching for Teachers – With a Fresh and Engaged Perspective

With over ten years of experience as a teacher in (inter)national secondary education, I know from first-hand experience what happens in and around the classroom. Over the years, I have not only taught students but also mentored and coached students, colleagues, and trainees. I find inspiration in supporting others in their development.

Building on that foundation, I now offer coaching for schools and teachers who want to invest in professional growth, personal development, and sustainable educational quality. With a fresh perspective from outside the organisation, I support both schools and individual teachers in taking clear steps forward.

For Schools: Evaluation & Constructive Feedback

In collaboration with the school, I support professional development and teacher evaluation processes. I observe lessons, provide honest and constructive feedback, and align my input carefully with both the school’s vision and the teacher’s individual development goals.

Always with respect for the context and with one aim in mind: to strengthen what already works and to develop what can grow further.

Tailored Coaching for Teachers

My coaching programmes are practical, personal, and built around three key areas:

  • Pedagogical leadership: How do you create a safe, motivating learning environment where both students and you can thrive?

  • Didactic development: What really works in your lessons, and how can you purposefully expand your didactic toolkit?

  • Personal growth: Who are you as a teacher? How do you find balance between your many roles – subject expert, mentor and team member?

There is space for what truly matters to you – from questions of professional identity and classroom dynamics to workload and confidence. Together, we explore your strengths and how you can stand in front of your class with greater calm, resilience, and inspiration.

International and Culturally Aware

Thanks to my extensive experience in European and international school systems, I bring a broad intercultural perspective and strong cultural sensitivity. I am fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish, which allows me to offer coaching in these languages – always professionally, and always with attention for the person behind the teacher.
